Lethal altercation in Spirit Lake under investigation

An adult male died in Spirit Lake this week following a lethal altercation with the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s office officials say that on Tuesday, an unnamed male was killed after officers responded to a domestic violence call at 11 p.m. They then confirmed that domestic violence had occurred, and a fight erupted. An adult female and her children fled the residence during the incident, and an autopsy has been issued for the deceased male. The investigation is ongoing. [CR]
