Bandwagon: Super Diamond Tribute Band, Aug. 16, The Hive

Bust out your sequin jumpsuits and get ready, a Neil Diamond tribute band is descending on The Hive. San Francisco-based band Super Diamond will play all of Diamond’s timeless classics, including “Sweet Caroline,” “Cherry Cherry” and “America.” The sextet was formed in 1993, and has even received a nod from the man himself for its passionate covers of his music. The San Francisco Chronicle wrote, “Super Diamond does Neil Diamond without any irony, but with loving enthusiasm — and a lot of practice.”
