Earth Day Film Festival in Newport

The Newport Roxy is joining forces with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians and Responsible Growth NE Washington to host the Earth Day Film Festival Sunday, April 22. 

The festival starts at 6 p.m. and will take place at the Newport Roxy Theater, 120 S. Washington, in Newport, Wash. Tickets will run $8.50 for adults, $5 for under 19, military, tribal members and seniors.

Films slated to show are “Last Stand:   The Vanishing Caribou Wilderness,” and “United by Water.”

There will also be a keynote speaker and door prizes.
