The Idaho State Draft Horse and Mule International Show will kick off this weekend and go from July 5-8, with different events happening each day.
The annual show takes place at the Bonner County Fairgrounds, and features a wide variety of equine events, including log skidding, team driving, cart racing, a braiding competition and more.
The 2017 show was canceled last year due to poor air quality from wildfires, so this will be the first show since 2016.
If you haven’t seen these “gentle giants” up close before, grab the family and head out to the Bonner Co. Fairgrounds to check them out.
The grounds will be open Thursday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Check out www.idahodrafthorseshow.com for more info.
